and the coolest july back in the '80s was around 80 degrees. that's the monthly averages, there are the daytime highs. currently right now, we have plenty of 50s across the bay area from santa rosa down into san mateo and also temperatures similar in our inland locations. and that's because the fog's been moving in six 5:00, 6:00 p.m. earlier tonight. it's helping stabilize a lot of our conditions. we will most definitely have to deal with fog for the coastline locations. and it's going to seem mild as we head throughout tuesday's forecast. at least for bay area standards. we'll be looking at this pattern persisting over the next six to seven days. that is this mild july weather for us. here's a look at the fog we dealt with today. that, obviously, remains s offshore. we should be storm. it's all associated with this cooler air that's combining with the fog. it's kind of this one, two punch hoping to drop temperatures 10 to even 15 degrees below our averages. that will mean for tuesday more widespread 70s. by wednesday, still feeling like fall.
